Beautiful Strangers
“I don’t know you, but I see you and you are beautiful.”
This project has been in my mind for years. In June 2025 I finally mustered up the courage to ask my first stranger. They said yes. Next day, another yes. Slowly the nerves subsided. I realized the fear of rejection is valid but also unnecessary. If they say no, it’s ok. I’ll say, “thank you” and move on.
This project will slowly grow. There’s no time frame or limit. I’ll continue to add to it until I don’t.
My goal with this project is to show the beauty of earths creatures. Show them their own beauty. Bring a little happiness to their day. It’s also for me. To improve my photography skills, to expand my portfolio. The best feeling is to show someone how beautiful they are. For them to see themselves in a new way and to make them smile.
